Download Buku Teologi Islam Harun Nasution Pdf To 27 Filesharing is a term which has become both a legal and illegal phenomenon. The spread of the Internet and the creation of peer-to-peer (P2P) programs has proven to be an important driving force in the proliferation of file sharing and other forms of Internet piracy. In the United States, music piracy is mostly associated with non-commercial (i.e., copying music for personal use, such as for non-profit, hobby, or school use) and “commercial” (i.e., copying music as a service to others) activities. Even though there are file sharing services available in the United States, illegal file sharing and music piracy is still prevalent due to the fact that many people do not pay for the music they are listening to. It has been shown that through the construction of a dedicated communication network, file sharing and other types of Internet piracy can be stopped. The development of communications technology has also given rise to the theft of copyrighted software, with this type of piracy occurring when someone obtains a copy of software for free or by other means, even if it is lawfully obtained. In addition, computer software pirates often create a website dedicated to piracy, which is used to advertise files that can be obtained illegally. In September 2003, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) started the “SoundExchange,” a project that allows content creators to police the Internet for illegal file sharing. This software allows content creators to monitor peer-to-peer networks and record the activities of those who are sharing files. Filesharing and music piracy are also prevalent in Europe. There are approximately 1.3 million criminal filesharing networks in Europe, with the number of computers in Europe used for file sharing increasing from 1 million in 2001 to 2 million in 2006. In the European Union, filesharing is against the law. Individuals can be imprisoned, as well as large companies that operate filesharing networks. In the United Kingdom, the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 and the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1998 are among the laws that make illegal file sharing. In Australia, “illegal” file sharing and music piracy is also a criminal offense. The penalty for file sharing and piracy varies from country to country. In some countries, the penalties for infringement of copyright laws vary and are determined by a court.
